A Place for Spiritual Renewal

This is YOUR place
Camp UTABA

Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Wasatch Mountains, shielded from the harsh clamor of the city by a majestic mantle of pine, is a small retreat area that has been set aside by the Utah Association of American Baptists Churches (UAABC) for Worship, Renewal and Revival.

The cornerstone of UTABA is the words, CARING, RENEWAL, and WHOLENESS. UTABA strives to be a center where you can come for many different activities or simply do nothing at all. Whether through our regular program of camping each Summer or if you want to have your own group camp or time alone, UTABA seeks to meet your needs.

What’s New?

Camp UTABA was blessed in 2023 to receive multiple donations of money, time, and material to improve camping experiences for our guests. We invite you to explore what has changed at Camp UTABA!.

“Eventually, I went back to the cabin and crawled into my sleeping bag… only to feel something crawling up to meet me! Those kids had kept a few [young] snakes, just for me! My screams of surprise were greeted with a cabin full of laughter!

This was more than 50 years ago, and the memory still makes me smile. I was thrilled today when I Googled “Utaba” and see the camp is still there. God bless you for keeping such a wonderful place alive all these years. I hope you get another letter like this 50 years from now.”
